Open Position —

Communications Intern

Working closely with senior staff and sustainability specialists, the social media intern will:

• Assist in drafting communications materials such as social media, newsletters, emails and blog content.

• Assist with maintaining/compiling an editorial calendar for social media posting.

• Create and distribute content such as blogs, infographics, videos and press releases on social media and traditional news outlets

• Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability

• Create marketing or outreach media, such as brochures or web sites, to communicate sustainability issues, procedures, or objectives.

• Support marketing team at live and online events

  Qualifications
  Excellent oral and written communication skills
  Social Media Savvy with Instagram, Twitter, etc.
  Experience with social media analytics (Google Analytics and FB Insights)
  Excellent research, writing and organizational skills Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple projects
  Currently enrolled or graduated from a 4yr program in the following fields: Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, Marketing,

Open Position —

Environmental Advisor

• Develop reports & presentations to communicate sustainability initiatives

• Identify or procure needed resources to implement sustainability programs or projects.

• Research or review regulatory, technical, or market issues related to sustainability.

• Collaborate with Senior Staff to provide insight on sustainable solutions for clientele

• Provide educational resources, information and feedback for initial sustainability inquiries

Qualifications
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of NYC waste management, recycling, ZeroWaste, NetZero initiatives.
Proficiency in Google Workspace & MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
Ability to manage multiple projects and lead campaigns.
